El Museo del Barrio’s 2011 Gala
El Museo del Barrio’s 2011 Gala will honor fashion photographer Mario Testino with a lifetime artistic achievement award celebrating his 30-year career on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Cipriani, 42 Street in New York City. Yaz and Valentin Hernández will once again serve as the gala chairs, joined for the first time by Alex Gonzalez and Raul Martinez. Born in Lima, Peru, Mario Testino is among the world’s most acclaimed photographers, famous for his portraits of Diana Princess of Wales, Salma Hayek, Madonna, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, and countless others.
