Daylight Photo Awards – Submissions Deadline May 1st

Daylight will consider still images made from all photographic processes, both traditional and digital. You should demonstrate the ability to build a strong series of images and a cohesive body of work.

The overall and category winners of the 6th edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for photographers have been selected. Results of the 6th Edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award are hosted by the Worldwide Photography Gala Awards.

Jurors Julio Hardy and David G Hirsch selected the awarded artist from among 429 artists from 56 countries who submitted 4,428 images.…

Five New Photographers Join VII Mentor Program

VII is pleased to announce the next roster of photographers to join its lauded VII Mentor Program, an education initiative launched in 2008 to provide professional development for emerging photographers whom VII consider to be amongst the brightest new talents in the industry.

The photographers, who were chosen from 150 applicants, will each be mentored by a VII photographer for a period of two years, to build and develop necessary skills, expand his or her own professional practice, and help broaden their professional world, such as building relationships with editors, publishers and galleries.…
