As media coverage of both prolonged conflicts begins to wan, American audiences grow numb.  However, the severity and impact of these wars on those who fight becomes increasingly detrimental as service members return home. Erin Grace Trieb (b. 1982) earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in photography from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and has since worked as a freelance photojournalist, editorial and documentary photographer.  Her work spans a diversity of subject matter from international social conflict to local, feature stories.

Erin’s work has received international recognition and awards from World Press Photo and Pictures Of The Year International.  She has also been nominated for the Joop Swart Masterclass and PDN’s 30 Emerging Photographers.  

Based in Austin, Texas, Erin continues to photograph for a wide variety of clients including TIME Magazine, The New York Times, MSNBC.com, Newsweek, Forbes, GEO Magazine, Der Spiegel, The Times in London, Texas Monthly Magazine, Stern, the Smithsonian Magazine, and The Wallstreet Journal.  She is currently pursuing a long-term documentary project on the social effects post-war trauma has on US military returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and is the director and founder of The Homecoming Project (www.thehomecomingproject.org).

Erin is currently represented by the VII Photo Agency.
