Sam Barzilay is the Director – and a founding member – of the New York Photo Festival.
In past lives, he has been a curator, a visual artist, and a social documentary photographer. In 2007, his collaborative work on collective responsibility and the consumption of violence was the focus of a 3-month exhibition by the Oslo ByMuseum in Norway.
He is currently residing in New York City, awaiting marching orders from the voices in his head.
