Tomorrow - why, I may be myself with yesterday's seven thousand years.

My work is often contrived, artificial ( guess that I try to emphasize the ARTificial ). Nature is the usual subject, but photomontages – in which the natural elements of several photographs are juxtaposed – are becoming more satisfying for my self-indulgent impulses. I assume most observers of the natural order seek environmental authenticity in their representations, but I find a rhinoceros lounging on a local beach to be evocative. I’m not attempting surreal expression; I don’t recall ever dreaming about rhinos on the beach.
