• 1993 – 1999 Tbilisi State University – masters degree in German Language and literature
• 1996 -1997 Student practitioner of Berlin Humboldt University (DAAD scholarship)
• 1999 – 2001 Photography School “Sepia.” Tbilisi.

• 2002 -2004 The main daily Newspaper of Georgia “24 Hours” –    Photographer.

Awards

• 2000 August - First Prize winner in documentary category in competition “Black and White.” Tbilisi.
• 2002 September - “Tbilisi my city” special contest for journalists – award in “published Photos.”
• 2003 April – First prize winner in category of “Portraits” in the contest for photojournalists, organized by Irex, media innovation program.

• 2004 November – Recognition  as a “Project of Note Photographer” by Fifty Crows International fund for photography Central Asia and Caucasus region grant.
• 2005 April – First prize in advertising competition for “Nestle”
•  2008 December – First Prize in an Exhibition “ Through their eyes-through ours”

Organized by “KARAT” coalition in Warsaw. This exhibition will be shown in Poland, Slovakia. 2009 in Berlin and in 2010 in Brussels.

•  2008 – December. 1 award from UNFPA. Photo competition Combating gender-based violence in the south Caucasus, “ Human rights for woman – human rights for everyone”

2008 – December. Journalists contest organized by civil society institute . “Welfare Initiatives – Caring for each other” . Best photograph work.
