Oddly, Easter has become one of my favorite nights of the year. “Sun Day Best” is the third installment of “Easter Glamour Portrait Studio.” Borrowing an empty studio space in Brooklyn, a renegade photo studio is erected for one night only on Easter Sunday, and a community of artists and friends are invited to play with Spring themed costumes, props, backdrops, and makeup. This year, Andy Jordan, Destiny Pierce, Cyrus Saint Amand Poliakoff, Stina Puotinen, David Riley, and Nick Schiarizzi acted as inspiration and makeover specialists. I couldn't have done the project this year without the extra special help from Alexander Kargaltsev.
Take an afternoon to peruse the pages of "Sun Day Best." You'll find all your favorite, classic looks. "Sun Day Best" is your one stop Springtime costume shop!
