This is the Goodbye for Annalena, a nine year old girl. She died from cerebraltumor. The last months I photographed with her and her brother Maximilian. They liked it very much. A relationship, friendship grew and the parents asked me to photograph her funeral. it was my first funeral to photograph in an official way with strange new feelings but I am happy that they asked me. In our society dying, all about death is still a tabu but it is so important for our life to live also with the death in a naturally way. So it is on us photographers to show also this side of life.
