Psychologists proofed that sometimes human memories are fake.
So what if dreams and desires could be fake as well? Not impulsive nor wanted but programmed by parents and culture.
How can we know what we really want and who we actually desire to be?
How to distinguish our real needs and dreams from the fake ones?
How to be yourself if all around you seems to be an illusion or a phantom? If we are stuck in a surreal semi personality trying to find our way in a limbo like reality that we are not even conscious about, how can we possibly be our selfs?
My reflection of this is that people feel a great dissatisfaction which they can’t even trace back to them self. In my pictures I am trying to capture tension and inquietude of the man who has been hunted by his own illusions.
