A little note about Rui Noronha
There is not a lot to say about Rui Noronha. He was born in 1971 in Matosinhos (Portugal). Apart from his unique way of walking, there is nothing special about him. According to his mother, he was reluctant to abandon the comfort of the womb, showing his personality from the outset. After several unsatisfactory jobs, he graduated in Sociology. Having achieved this, despite his working environment not having changed, his world vision was no longer what it had been.
He has devoted himself to photography, despite several breaks, since the mid- 90’s, when cameras still used film for taking pictures. The works of photographers like Cartier – Bresson, Walker Evans, Eugene Smith, and Don McCullin, among others, have had a huge influence on the way he thinks and lives his photography.
