The White Building: A Mirror of Cambodia
The White Building was built in the 60s in the heart of Phnom Penh, in a period in which Cambodia experienced a renaissance in architecture and the arts. The building was constructed to host athletes during the 1963 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, which eventually never took place due to political tensions. The same location was then used as housing for artists, teachers and government employees.
